Hi, I'm Dilek Polat
Dilek enjoys teaching Pilates to everybody, no matter what their fitness level or previous experience they had. Having discovered Pilates as a young sociology student and graduating from Hacettepe University, she had a professional career in the Ministry of Social Service in Istanbul. In 2011 Dilek was diagnosed with scoliosis and therefore had firsthand experience of how beneficial Pilates can be when integrated into one’s life. Not only has Pilates helped her to manage and maintain a healthy body, but it has also empowered her in all aspects of her life. If you suffer from scoliosis you may wish to try Pilates to strengthen the muscles involved with breathing - the diaphragm and accessory muscles. Constantly fascinated by the changes that Pilates can bring to all physiques, Dilek loves how she is able to help clients prevent injuries and regain their quality of life by building strong confidence within the physical and mental aspects of the self.
